The method of replacing the wash basin faucet is not difficult. First, you need to replace the faucet, then separate the faucet water pipe, then remove the faucet and replace it with a new one.
1. Close the water inlet valve. Before replacing the wash basin faucet, first close the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is generally located under the sink. If the valve is not tightly closed or cannot be closed, it can be operated with water, but when installing the new faucet, it must be prepared in advance with raw material tape around 7-8 turns in the thread direction, and a large bucket should be prepared under the water pipe to collect water to prevent waste. Also, be sure to open new faucets and other taps to divert pressure relief when you can't close the valve.
2. To disassemble the wash basin faucet, first use a wrench to separate the water inlet pipe and hose. The water inlet pipe of the bathroom is an open pipe, which can be shaken by hand. When disassembling, it is afraid that it will break accidentally. Therefore, special care should be taken when disassembling. Hold the water pipe with the left hand and twist the wrench with the right hand to easily separate the two.
3. Remove the fasteners of the faucet so that the faucet can be removed from the basin. But then there is a problem. The hose of the faucet has been used for a long time, so the hose has become brittle, and the fixing part has been rusted, and it cannot be unscrewed with a wrench.
4. Due to the small space under the basin, it is difficult to operate. Moreover, the glass glue between the basin and the countertop has been worn out for a long time, so the basin can be easily removed from the countertop. After the basin is removed, the construction will not get in the way. Then use a saw to cut off the rusted part that is difficult to remove, and the faucet is successfully removed.
1. Take out the wash basin faucet and check whether all accessories are complete. Before installation, be sure to remove the dirt around the device hole and in the water supply pipeline to ensure that there is no impurities in the water inlet pipeline of the wash basin faucet. In order to protect the surface of the faucet from being scratched, it is recommended to wear gloves for installation.
2. Take out the rubber gasket of the wash basin faucet. The gasket is used to relieve the pressure of the metal surface of the faucet touching the ceramic basin, maintain the ceramic basin, and then insert a water inlet pipe and screw it tightly.
3. Put the threaded joint into the first water inlet hose, and then put the water inlet end of the second water inlet hose through the threaded joint.
4. Screw the second water inlet hose into the water inlet port, pay attention to the correct direction, use a balanced force, and then tighten the threaded joint.
5. Put the two water inlet hoses into the white rubber pad.
6. Put on the lock nut to fix the faucet.
7. Then tighten the sleeve.
8. Tighten the two water inlet pipes and the angle valve interfaces respectively, and do not twist them with full force with a pipe wrench to prevent deformation or even breakage. Pay attention to the connection of hot and cold water. Connect the water outlet angle valve with the other end of the water inlet pipe.
